Subscriptions
A subscription is payable in advance and entered and invoiced per complete volume. All orders should be clearly marked NEW or RENEWAL, print+e or e-only (where applicable), and clearly indicate the volume number and subscription year. All orders should include the name and address of the ultimate subscriber (end user).
Access to online editions is included in institutional subscription(s) only (if applicable). Access to all available online back issues is also included in the institutional subscription price, except "Index Islamicus".
For a number of journals an index issue will be published. The indexes are part of the subscription and will be sent to (print) subscribers automatically.

Prices
All subscription prices given are subject to change without prior notice. Prices do not include VAT. Please note that residents of the Netherlands and residents of the EU without a VAT number are liable for value added tax on all prices shown. Customers should include their VAT registration number with all orders, to ensure that no VAT will be charged. Customers in Canada, USA and Mexico will be charged in US dollars, all other customers in Euros.
To qualify for reduced subscription prices for individuals (print only), subscription orders from individuals must be ordered for a private address and must be paid for by an individual and may not be paid for by institutions or by organizations.

Please note that due to fluctuations in the exchange rate, the US dollar amounts charged to credit card holders may vary slightly from the prices advertised.

Please contact sales@brill.nl for trade discount information. If you are an existing Brill customer, please mention your Brill customer number.

Shipping & Handling
All subscription prices include delivery and handling charges. Dispatch of issues/electronic access will commence only after correct payment has been received.

Single Issues/Single Articles
Single issues are available for each journal, the price being obtained by dividing the institutional subscription rate by the frequency plus 25%. Where journals are also available online, single articles can be obtained for a document delivery fee via the journal's online page.

Renewals & Cancellations
Renewal invoices will be sent automatically, until cancellation is received. If you do not wish to renew your subscription for the following year, please inform us no later than 1st October in the current year.  Cancellations are not accepted during a subscription period once fulfilment has begun.

Claims
Claims for missing issues will be met, free of charge, if made within three months of dispatch for European customers and five months for customers outside Europe. In the year following publication, replacement copies may be purchased at the respective single issue prices.

Back Volumes
In the current subscription year, back volumes for two preceding years can be ordered from Brill. Older back volumes can be ordered from:
