“Comprising just over 9 percent of the titles reviewed by Choice during the past year, and less than 3 percent of the more than 25,000 titles submitted to Choice during this same period, Outstanding Academic Titles are truly the ‘best of the best,’” writes Choice Editor and Publisher Irving E. Rockwood.
Copies of each title will be on display in the Brill booth at the Midwinter American Library Association (ALA) Conference, 20-24 January, in Dallas, Texas. Be sure to stop by booth 1552 to browse through these award-winning titles. (View the complete list of conferences Brill plans to attend this year.)
Choice publishes its annual list of Outstanding Academic Titles from the preceding year in each January issue. Titles are selected for their excellence in scholarship and presentation, the significance of their contribution to the field, and their value as important—often the first—treatment of their subject.
Sincere congratulations go out to the award-winning titles. To learn more about Choice’s Outstanding Academic Title list, visit: http://www.ala.org/acrl/choice/outstanding.
