International Relations Studies Series is a peer-reviewed book series which seeks to publish original and important works that will advance the study of religion, identity and world order. The world after 9/11 is one in which religion in general and Islam in particular are regarded as problematic aspects of identity that cause problems for world order. This series takes a more inclusive view and welcomes reflection on religion and other aspects of identity that reach constructive as well as critical conclusions. The series welcomes diverse approaches in terms of both theory and methods. Studies of particular states in terms of foreign policy or regions vis-à-vis international relations writ large both are encouraged. The series also recognizes the importance of transnational relations with respect to global governance and world order, and religion and identity from the micro- to the macro-level. Studies in this series will preferably relate to at least two and possibly all three of the central concepts noted.
Please note that Volume 4, Peace, Security and Development in an Era of Globalization, is available from Republic of Letters Publishing (see www.rolpub.com/ires)
