Brill is launching BrillOnline.com, the next generation online resource center for students, researchers and teachers in academia. BrillOnline aims to offer these users the best of today’s functionality and features in online publishing. - for online bibliographies: bibliographies.brillonline.com.
BrillOnline features excellent browsing and searching tools, and essential personal tools for saving, alerting, sharing, and exporting. TheBrillOnline.com platforms gradually replace Brill’s current online services on IngentaConnect, brillonline.nl, and nijhoffonline.nl. In the coming period Brill will support its customers worldwide through the transition. BrillOnline.com will run parallel with the online services that are being replaced until all the necessary adjustments are made.
End of the Brill maintenance fee
Monday October 10th, Brill announced its intention to discontinue maintenance fees for hosting online content charged to customers who have acquired Brill Online resources. This decision will become effective as of January 1, 2012 and is in response to the need of library communities for a simpler invoicing process and more predictable budgeting. Brill Online customers will benefit from the elimination of ongoing costs, reduction in the number of invoices, and lower administration costs.
